Born at Fremantle WA, CoE. Enlisted 8 December 1915 age 18, bank clerk. Nok father, William Ernest Moxon of Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Sydney 18 May 1916 per A84 Demosthenes. Served in France 1917-1918 and gas wounded on 26 April 1918. RTA via America at own expense, per SS Sonoma. Service medals: BWM and VM.
