Born at Richmond, Surrey England, CoE. Enlisted 1 October 1916 age 24, shearer. Nok mother, at Richmond, Surrey. Embarked at Fremantle 30 October 1916 per A16 Port Melbourne. Wounded in action in France on 31 July 1917 and a wound to his hand 3 April 1918. RTA June 1919. Service medals: BWM and VM. In later years he resided at Ozone St, Cottesloe.
