Born at Waipui NZ, CoE. Enlisted 6 September 1915 age 40, painter. Nok Maud Helen Needham, Broome St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle per A7 Medic on 18 January 1916. Served in the Middle East. RTA 1916 and discharged medical grounds. Service medals: BMW and VM.
