Born at Tanunda, Sth Aust. CoE. Enlisted 17 January 1916 age 22, butcher. Nok father, Mr Nixon residing at Isowna, Napoleon St, Cottesloe and later at Irvine St, Cottesloe Beach. Embarked on 27 June and served in England and France. RTA per Mahana on 25 September 1919. Service medals: BMW and VM.
