Born at Kew Victoria, Presbyterian. Enlisted 15 April 1915 age 23 bank officer. Nok wife, Eileen May Scott, 323 Stirling St, Perth. Embarked at Fremantle 6 June 1916 per A29 Suevic. In France he was wounded in action on 14 March 1917. RTA per SS Balmoral Castle in February 1918 for a medical discharge. In later years he lived in Broome St Cottesloe. Service medals: BWM and VM.
