Born on 23 January 1887 at Melbourne, Victoria, CoE. Joined the Education Department in 1902 as a monitor at Perth Boys and graduated from Claremont Teachers College in 1906. He was teaching at Cottesloe School in 1914 and enlisted two years later on 4 February 1916. Nok wife, Lily Senior. Embarked Fremantle 29 December 1916 per A34 Persic. Wounded in the leg in France and RTA 10 January 1919 aboard the A64 Demosthenes. Arthur Senior returned to teaching and died in 1936. Service medals: BWM and VM.
