Born at Perth, CoE. Enlisted 20 May 1915 age 21, labourer. Nok father, Horace William Sholl, Leake St, Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Fremantle 29 June 1915 A11 Ascanius. Served at Gallipoli. Wounded in action in France on 29 July 1916, in right foot. RTA March 1917. In April 1967 residing at Hastings, Victoria. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM. Brother to Leslie Sholl 52932.
