Born at Cottesloe on 12 June 1897, CoE. Enlisted 15 April 1918 age 20, clerk. Nok father, Horace W, Sholl of Leake St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Sydney 10 June 1918 per A18 Wiltshire for England and RTA SS Orana 20 June 1919. Service medal: BWM. Brother to Horatio Sholl 1038. Horace Sholl was a wealthy pearler and pastoralist of the Pilbara and MLC North Province April-June 1888 and MLA 1891-1901.
