Born at Yass NSW, CoE. Enlisted 3 April 1916 age 37, horse driver. Nok wife, Emma Snell. Keane St, and Lochee St, Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Fremantle 21 January 1917 per A42 Bulla for Suez where he was engaged as a farrier. RTA July 1919. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM.
