Born at Croydon Surrey England, CoE. Enlisted 22 September 1914 age 24, farmhand. Nok brother, Richard Harris Sudlow, c/o Calthorpe Bros. Fremantle. Embarked at Melbourne 22 December 1914 per A40 Ceramic. Served at Gallipoli where he was wounded in the right shoulder 16 June 1915. He returned to Australia in May 1916 per A74 Marathon and discharged permanently unfit. He appears to have re-enlisted on 14 February 1917 age 28. Geoffrey’s address in 1917 was given as Ocean Road Cottesloe Beach. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM. St Luke’s Anglican Church Cottesloe Honour Roll.
