Tuxworth, Gerald Lewis

Born at Carisbrook, Victoria, CoE.   Enlisted 19 June 1915 age 18, clerk.  Nok father, David Tuxworth of The Bend, Clifton Hill, Victoria.  Embarked at Melbourne 10 September 1915 per Makarini.  Served in Gallipoli 1915, Egypt 1916, France 1916-1918 and was wounded to the head.  Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM.  Cottesloe and District Honour Rolls. This is the only G. L. Tuxworth on the Australian National Archives WW1 military lists.  The 1915 Post Office Directory lists a George B. Tuxworth of Palmerston St, Cottesloe Beach but the relationship is unknown.
