Born Otago NZ, Presbyterian. Enlisted 12 August 1915 age 21, draper. Nok father, Archibald Webb, Victoria Rd, East Fremantle. George’s address at the time of his enlistment was Stuart St, Cottesloe Beach. Embarked at Fremantle 2 November 1915 per A38 Ulysses. RTA per Osterly 31 January 1918. Received a pension of 30 shillings per fortnight. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star (possible), BWM and VM.
