Born at Cottesloe, RC. Enlisted 15 January 1915 age 18, farm labourer. Nok sister, Jessie Welsh of High St, Prahan, Victoria. Embarked at Sydney 8 August 1917 per A68 Anchises. Served at Gallipoli, Greece and France and killed in action in France 10 April 1918. Service medals: 1914-15 Star, BMW and VM. Cottesloe Honour Rolls.
