Born at Meltham Victoria, CoE. Enlisted 22 November 1916 age 36, horse driver. Nok father, Fred White of Victoria. At date of enlistment Arthur’s address was Salisbury St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle 29 December 1916 per A34 Persic. In August 1917 severe rheumatism made him incapable of continuing his duties. RTA on 27 August 1917 and discharged in November 1917. Service medals: BWM and VM. President of the Cottesloe RSL 1938-1940 and a member of the Cottesloe RSL Cricket Team 1932-33.
