Born in London, CoE. Enlisted 22 July 1918 age 24, seaman. Nok wife, Ida Antoinette Wield of Loma St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle per A36 Boonah on 29 October 1918. The ship was recalled to Fremantle when it arrived at South Africa. RTA and discharged 10 January 1919. BWM. In 1957 he applied for a War Service Home.
