Born at Fremantle, Methodist. Enlisted 6 August 1917 age 19, builder. Nok father, Harry Stokes Williams, Ravenhurst, Napier St, Cottesloe. Embarked at Fremantle 24 November 1918 per Canberra. In France on 1 June 1918 he suffered a wound to the head and RTA 23 September 1918 per A54 Runic. Service medals: BWM and VM.
