Embarked at Fremantle 13 September 1915 per A32 Themistocles. Wounded in the face in France on 29 June 1916 and again in France with a wound to his hand and leg 25 April 1918. RTA May 1919 per ship China. Service medals: 1914-1915 Star, BWM and VM. His service file has a Mt Lawley WA address for 1928 and 1967. The 1925 and 1935 Post Office Directory lists William O. Williams at 12 Third Ave, Mt Lawley. Cottesloe and district Honour Rolls.
