Born at Newtown Sydney, Methodist. Enlisted 10 March 1915 age 18, clerk. Nok father, Archibald Yeldon 25 Farmer St, North Perth. Embarked at Fremantle 29 June 1915 per A11 Ascanius. Ronald Yeldon served at Gallipoli and was wounded in action in France. A medical inspection showed signs of tuberculosis and he was returned to Australia for discharge in July 1917 and discharged from hospital in February 1918.
